Hana Licht Hana started out in classes of Aquarela's Samba School and, three year ago, joined the group as principal dancer. In her own words "Samba and Brazilian dance have enriched my life in ways that I found missing in American culture. Learning about and experiencing first hand the passion, energy and vibrance of Brazilian folklore has opened my eyes to a new way of life. Samba and other forms of Brazilian dance have allowed me to connect with a part of myself that longs to feel so alive! Thanks to Aquarela and the Brazilian dance community I discovered a place where I feel at peace and part of something magical". Hana lives and studies in San Francisco.
